President: Kathryn

VP Operations: Rohit
EVOM Leads: Taylor, Raka
Chassis Leads: Tausif, Jennifer
Electronics Leads: Andrew, Dina
Programming Leads: Daniel, Vadim
PR Leads: Varunika, Annie
Website Lead: Max

Congratulations to those who made it. Now your challenge starts and may you prosper in your new responsibilities.

TKO is hard at work and is having tons of fun helping out at the Sacramento Regional. In the above photo, Prachi ‘15 and Daniel ‘13 are helping out Mark, the MC, gather the different team’s flags so that he may wave them before the match.

[Flash 10 is required to watch video]

At the end of lunch, as every regional does, there was a dance session. Our team, TKO, really showed some spirit as many of the members, old and new, went down to the dance floor and showed off their dancing skills. Take a Look!

I would like to thank Scott ‘14, a Public Relations Lead and Media Coordinator, for recording this footage

Rookie Posts! Rookie Antics (March 15)

Raka: We are on the way to Davis, and it does not feel real yet. I can’t believe that competition is almost here!

Prachi: Woaaa there! We need to back this conversation/post/blog thing up a bit! So the thing you need to know is that we’re sitting here with Oleg, Daniel, Kat, and Varunika. Just about the strangest group there is.

Raka: Yes, it is. Here I am, sitting on one small seat, pushed against a window with Prachi and Daniel. It is really interesting and makes me anticipate competition even more. I cannot wait.

Prachi: Mmmmmm… Sure. More like everyone freaks Raka out. But it’s true. Cheering in the stands with Daniel will be… Interesting. Well in the duration since we started writing this post, we have arrived and are sitting in our room.

Raka: Already, our antics have begun! I went into the bathroom to fix mix contacts. And as tried drying my hands, I accidentally dropped two small towels in the toilet.

Prachi: The whole time that this was going on, and Raka and Varunika were trying to get the towels out of the toilet, I was calmly sitting in a chair. Eating a triple-stacked Oreo (Yum… unhealthy but what’s a girl to do?), laughing my head off.

Raka: This is just the first night of Davis, but we are already having so much fun. This has been a friendly conversation between Raka ‘15 and Prachi ‘15.

On the Way to Davis, CA…(March 15)

Hey guys, just riding up our way to UC Davis on 680. We’ve got people with laptops out, phones out, iPods out, cameras out…. We’re a team on wheels, still working. There’s ruffling of bags of chips, aromas of oranges and apples, and the consistent talking and laughing  of  TKO 1351’s one-of-a-kind team. With the thought of the competition in everyone’s mind, I’m not surprised at the excited expressions on many faces, or the stressed, sweating faces on workhorses like Rohit, our Public Relations Lead. We’re all soon going to be in the stadium, watching, building, repairing, cheering, and dancing our hearts out. So- lets not use up all of our energy yet! Let this be a year to remember, TKO!
